Reader’s tales – Towers of Chevron Renaissance Surfers Paradise

We love to hear about where people holiday, or where there favourite place happens to be.

Chantal Butcher shares with us what started out to be a disaster holiday on Queensland’s Gold Coast, only to find what she says is the perfect holiday destination!

We travelled to Queensland last year as a family with our two young boys 3 and 5. We were lured into a “family resort” that we instantly disliked, so much so that we checked out and looked elsewhere for our accommodation.

The children could frolic in the sand and the water as it gradually got deeper just like the beach.

The Towers of Chevron Renaissance Surfers Paradise has three towers on it’s outer perimeter and the pools, qym, spa, bbqs, playground and gardens are on the 5th level with joins the towers together, giving you a spectacular view of the other nearby buildings. Having a small mall as the base of the building with a supermarket an open air courtyard with several eateries and shops like ed hardy was great.

We walked to the shops and all of the attractions are close by, like the rendezvous point for the aqua duck which is a open window bus that drives right into the water and becomes a boat that all of the kids get the drive and receive a certificate.

We loved the towers so much we strongly recommend it to any friends visiting ‘Surfers’, with or without children
