Australia’s first Madame Tussauds

Australia’s first Madame Tussauds has opened in Sydney, based at Darling Harbour.

The attraction has been given an ‘Australian makeover’ featuring wax figures of home-grown stars amongst the international names, such as Miranda Kerr, Delta Goodrem, Hugh Jackman and Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

Each wax figure is crafted with unprecedented skill, artistry and accuracy. It takes over 800 hours of work and 20 artists to make just one wax figure.

Madame Tussauds Sydney is the thirteenth Madame Tussauds attraction opened worldwide

The exhibition is open to the public from 9:00am to 8:00pm daily, with last admission at 7.00pm.
